The Medicines for Human Use (Clinical Trials) Regulations 2004 requires that Clinical Trials are conducted in accordance with the ICH Guideline for Good Clinical Practice (GCP). Whilst online courses exist for commercially-sponsored trials there is little in the way of quality material for those involved in research sponsored by non-commercial organizations.
Epigeum and a group of 17 leading UK medical schools and NHS Trusts have come together to address this need. The result is a series of 5 online GCP courses covering the key issues you will need to know. The courses are suitable for a wide range of academics and NHS staff, ranging from Research Ethics Committees, to Principal Investigators, Trial Managers and Research Nurses.
